Janika White is a native and lifelong Memphian who has served the people of Memphis. She graduated from Central High School, the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and earned a J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law. Janika has worked as a judicial clerk and is currently the managing partner at Janika White Law PLLC, specializing in criminal defense and civil litigation. She comes from a family of educators and community leaders and is involved in various organizations, including Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated and the Memphis Bar Association. Janika is currently a candidate for the Memphis City Council Super District 8 Position 2 in the upcoming election.

Marvin White is a public person who is currently running for the Memphis City Council District 2 in Tennessee. He has a high school education from Whitehaven High School and holds a college degree from The University of Memphis. He also has a master's or Ph.D. degree from The University of Memphis. Marvin White has a background in working for FedEx and is actively involved in various community organizations such as Leadership Memphis, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity. He has also served on the board of directors for the University of Memphis Fogleman College of Business. As of the current date, he is a candidate for the upcoming election on October 5, 2023.
