In May 2024, the Juvenile Court Clerk's Office building was closed indefinitely over mold/asbestos/lead concerns. Gordon said staff complaints prompted environmental testing. She told Action News 5: "When you have staff members that come to you and sometimes you think it's a joke, but it really wasn't.
